“ENCHANTED PEARLS: A MAGICAL SOIRÉE OF TIMELESS ELEGANCE”
On Saturday, June 28, the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center in downtown Hattiesburg was transformed into a vision of grace and glamour as six elegant debutantes were formally presented to society in a night filled with poise, tradition, and timeless beauty. Since 1994, the Theta Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®️ has proudly introduced young ladies to the Hattiesburg community through its signature Pink Cotillion Scholarship and Debutante Program—a cherished biennial tradition that cultivates elegance, scholarship, and leadership in high school juniors and seniors.
Through this program, debutantes are awarded scholarship dollars based on their academic achievement, community service, fundraising efforts, and engagement throughout the program. The legacy continues… and the future shines bright.
